I want to give a shout out to Kelsey and Tristopher for being such terrific representatives at Staples. They made my shopping experience great. Kelsey was a rock start juggling many customers all at once with competing and time-sensitive needs. Tristopher recognized and acknowledged all of Kelsey's hard work. They make a great team, and it delightfull spilled over to my experience there.
I have recieved rebate codes on my receipts from them, in that past, thatwas not accepted by them one. I went in to buy a Texas Instrument calculator for $150, on June 15, 2016. The sales rep insisted that I get the warranty eventhough I told him I wasn't sure about getting it. I shopped around a little bit afterwards, and when I went to check out the cashier automatically included it in my bill. They perfected bait and switch. Never going back. What a mess, too.
I called my local Staples to make sure someone was there to operate the cutting machine. Anthony told me that they no longer cut customer's paper unless they have printed at Staples b/c they become liable as the machine had in the past ruined someone's paper. Please fix the machine, or replace it. There are not many stores in the area, and in Park Slope where there's a good many graphic designers (and designers of all types), it would probably be a good idea to just fix it, rather than have us go to the City, or Best Buy at ... read more
I bought an HP notebook from Staples just 2 months ago, and did not buy the service plan. The motherboard died and the service technician was very abrupt in telling me that I was on my own to have it fixed at their hourly rate. I declined his ridiculous offer and called HP support. HP was most courteous and helpful and is arranging for a free repair. Beware of Staples.
