Never EVER would recommend Staples! Not after accusing a pregnant lady of stealing! That’s just soooo wrong! Especially after the manager admitted NOT SEEING HER STEAL ANYTHING!!!!
While she was shopping for back to school supplies, this store publicly shamed a mother 34 weeks pregnant with twins by having an officer question if she had anything "under her shirt" while she was PAYING for merchandise. The STORE MANAGER who accused the pregnant woman of shoplifting admitted that she did not see the woman take anything but ASSUMED due to the size of her stomach. What kind of store thinks it's acceptable to have a police officer question a woman PREGNANT WITH TWINS for "having something under her shirt" just because "she's big!" Of course she's big, she is about to bring two new humans into the world and all you can think to do is accuse her despite admitting you didn't see her put anything under her shirt. Your refund to her was inadequate. Any store that supports an employee acting like this will never see my business. Shameful!
My friend Shyrell Bates who is obviously pregnant with twins was accused of stealing because her belly looks suspicious. I am utterly disappointed and disgusted by this action made by the store manager at the store. The woman and the officer needs to be accounted for. This store management is clearly living in a different time period as they seem to have problems with women who are obviously pregnant. Seriously, you will never get one dime of my money- good luck with your outdated belief systems.
How disgusting to discriminate against a pregnant woman and involve the police simply big she had a big belly! Pregnant with twins is hard enough! A public apology is needed and you need to be FIRED!!!!
