I had really great customer service at Staples in Forsyth today. Our laminating machine at school needs film. It is on order but I needed some stuff for Monday. The salesperson at Staples did not stop the machine to load items so there was a ton of wasted laminate. It was going to be $40. Another salesperson walked over when I came to pick it up. Customer service at this store is A++++ A slight mishap when picking up my order resulted in the General Manager HAND DELIVERING MY MISSING ITEMS TO MY HOUSE IMMEDIATELY!!!! (nearly 45 minutes away)
Why do I have to check pricing online before I go to the brick and mortar store? Because pricing in the store is not the same as online. NOT EVEN CLOSE! I visited the store in Forsyth, Il this morning and bought some toner for my printer. It was a high yield unit. I got charged $95.99 plus tax. I thought that sure was higher than I remember the last one costing. So, I checked it online: $57.99. WHAT???? So I call and complain, they tell me they can "price match". AGAIN, WHAT????
