I set up an appointment with Stanton Optical over the phone and was told my insurance was accepted, I was in the office for over an hour and a half. The equipment would not work right. It needed to be turned off and on a number of times. They could not find my insurance provider and charged me ten times my copay. My copay is $10 for an exam. I was charged $109. Highly disappointed with my experIence and will never return. The 2 for $79 promo is very misleading. I came in today which is the day before my daughter’s prom because she broke her glasses and they promote “same day”. I let them know up front my goal and that I wanted the 2 for 79. They were quick to do my daughter’s exam which I now know was more than likely in efforts of forcing us to owe for an exam. My daughter was told the “blue” stickers were the 2 for $79 glasses.
