My 97 yr old Aunt was a regular patient of Dr. Axline for many years. She had a massive stroke 6 years ago, leaving her severely disabled and was being cared for in her home 24 hrs a day since then. When she passed, he refused to sign her death certificate because she died at home. All along he has been difficult to deal with, very uncooperative, but this is the last straw. An AWFUL disappointment. My son has what we think is a botfly infestation… got it camping. St. John’s brought in this elderly gentleman and we thought he would be wonderful. Son got worse over night. Dr. Adline had given me his cell and Friday afternoon when ADAM was worse I called the doctor..He was utterly rude. The number was “meant to text me not call me.” It seemed urgent and he never mentioned that we could not call him. I've been going to Dr. Axline for over 30 years and he has connected me with some of the best specialists around while he managed my care. I actually feel better having seen him. I have waited some with an appt but I understand the time he takes with me, he does with others. Great doctor. Calls me at night to see how I am doing when really sick. Also, he goes out of his way to see me in the hospital when I've been there even if he wasn't the Dr. who sent me there. Even at other hospitals than St. John's. Nice guy. just
Dr. Axline is an amazing "Old School" doctor. He takes time to truly listen to the patient's concern and for me formulated antibiotics made specifically for my bacterial infections. Dr. Axline came highly recommended by several area physicians. After reading a 1 star review I highly doubt the person was a patient. If you need an infectious disease specialist, I would highly recommend you meeting Dr. Axline & staff to draw your own conclusion. Truly a very caring & compassionate man.
