Great Barber
There are only two barbers that cut my hair during my time in Gillespie from '65 to '94: Harry and Stan. Harry was first, and Stan wasn't around then. Harry had his shop on Macoupin St. right next to the pool hall. Now, that entire building is gone. I don't know what happened to Harry (retirement, going out of business, death), but I guess sometime in the early '80s or late '70s I started going to Stan, who had recently opened his barber shop where it still is now.
