Why has my previous review been edited to remove key content?
I have been seeing Dr. Stannard for over 10 years and I am amazed at the standard of care. He raises the bar. Starting with the caring, kind and effecient staff to the top of the line equipment that leads to the quality dental work which has never been less that perfection. Would highly recommend Dr. Stannard to everyone who wants the best care- for all the teeth they want to keep.
I was referred to Stannard to get a molar fixed, and an implant. When I made the appointment, I made clear what I wanted.. On arrival, they insisted on making bite measurements. I protested. I have no problem with my bite. (braces fixed that.) I continued to protest. They were ignoring the teeth I needed fixed. Finally, I was told he would only fix the molar if I first paid $1000 "to have the high spots on my teeth ground down". No way I'd let him do that. I was hit with a $300 bill!
