It was clear the employee did not want to be there, and for a 5 minute consult, they charged 108 for the consult and an extra 79 for the "first half hour". The quote for the job ended up being $700 more than the next highest quote. I'm so glad we got a second and third opinion to avoid working with Stanley Cooper. Too bad it cost almost $200 to learn the lesson.
I called Stanley Cooper to get a 2nd opinion on some "issues" that another contractor "found". SC sent Kevin - that day - to inspect and audit my heat pump and condenser unit. He was here for over 2 hours running various tests for pressure, airflow and temperature. He truly left no stone unturned in his search and found out that it was actually a Google Nest wiring related issue. SC and Kevin actually care about their work and the customer.
