We hired Stanley Steemer clean to clean tile/grout and to clean a large finished basement carpet. They left the carpet in the basement saturated and unable to dry. A month later mold and Mildew is left and growing on doors and a finished bar. Carpet needs to be ripped out and replaced. Contacted Stanley Steemer and was told that they don’t think they are at fault. Carpet should have dried on it’s own and if it didn’t there must have been a moisture issue to begin with. After a not so thorough “splash-n-dash” by a previous crew last week, I was sent the uber thorough and extremely courteous Eric Zimmerman to do the job correctly today. He pre-treated my berber carpeting (which was not done the first time) and thoroughly cleaned my carpet to like new condition which I was told by said crew last week could not be done because of “high traffic areas”. Do yourself a favor and request Eric personally. You’ll be very glad you did.
