We had Xpert Roofers do a complete tear off and new shingle roof and I'm happy with the choice. What really registered was the actual result. The old roof was patchy and mismatched from years of little repairs and now the whole thing looks even. They matched the color to the trim so it works with the house instead of sticking out. They also did the gutters, which were sagging and pulling away in one corner, and put in new fascia where the wood had gone soft. new shingle roof on a 1950s ranch. xpert handled the tear off and full install in two days. they also fixed a section of soffit that had bird damage which i had pointed out during the estimate. shingles are a darker grey, look way sharper than the old brown ones. did some shopping around Mount Prospect for quotes and theirs was middle of the pack pricewise but they had better reviews so we went with it. roof is solid, no issues after a few big rain days

full shingle replacement plus new gutters and fascia on the south side where everything was getting soft. xpert was one of three companies i called around Park Ridge and they were the only one who actually got up on the roof during the estimate instead of using a drone or whatever. shingles we picked were a charcoal architectural style and they look way better than the old three tab. fascia work turned out cleaner than i expected too, the paint match on the trim is dead on. gutters were upgraded to the bigger 6 inch ones sin... read more

We had a persistent issue with ice dams forming along the back edge of the roof every winter, and the resulting water had started getting into the attic insulation. Two previous companies had told us it was just a gutter problem and suggested heat cables. Xpert came out and explained that the real issue was inadequate ventilation in the attic combined with insufficient ice and water shield along the eaves. Got our roof done and the process was pretty smooth from the estimate to The final day. The crew worked fast and the area around our property in park ridge was cleaned up well after. The new shingles looked solid.
