I saw him one time as a young teenager after suffering a psychotic episode. His response was that it seems like just typical teenager stuff, and I'm just hormonal, and I should try harder. Turns out I have bipolar disorder. This office demands that you have your parents in the room with you, whether you want them there or not, and even after you turn 18. Ridiculous, like anyone is going to tell the truth with their mom sitting right next to them. Fort Atkinson Behavioral Health needs some new doctors, because the two they ha... read more
Very abrupt clearly wants to spend as little time as possible with patient. Told me what Medicare would not cover when I am not on Medicare but paying $500 a month for my health insurance. After stating pain was 8 he ended appointment by telling me he would not need to see me again. I was not helped and left to seek help elsewhere after 4 plus years of hip pain causing immobility
Dr. Manakas is one of the best doctors I've ever had! Very proactive, confident, easy to talk to, thorough - everything you want in a doctor.
Dr.Nottestad is one of the most compassionate and knowledgeable providers I have ever experienced. Glad we found her.
Disgusting & embarrassing
My wife and I could not ask for a more helpful, understanding doctor. than Dr. Nottestad. She has every quality anyone could hope for as a primary physician. She does everything possible to honor our needs and assist us in any way she is able to. We feel so blessed to be able to have her as our doctor.
Very disappointed with results of my anterior hip replacement which was performed on May 25th 2017. I am almost at 4 months,recovery. The reason for my 1 star rating is not being honest to me about what went wrong during surgery and why my hip area is still swelling up all the time and all the discomfort! Most hip replacements take 1-2 hours. Mine was over 3 hours! No explanation why or what went wrong when I have asked this question! Very frustrated about no progress in over 4 weeks!
Great psychiatrist. Doesnt give you adderrall when you're depressed and bipolar which is good. I think he looks more at the long term of mental illness instead of how you feel this second. I, as a former addict and glad he doesnt dole out adderrall and xanax whenever you want it.
Very educated man who likes to make money. Charges for 2 appts for med-checks when he sees only 1 kid and writes a scrip for a refill for other kid w/o seeing him. Double books appts--the more kids he can dose up, the more $ he makes. Kids diagnosed with ADHD even though they don't exhibit symptoms in 1 household. Says what 1 wants to hear, then when convenient, changes it. Offers meds like candy-literally "which one do you want?" HE'S THE DOC. HE SHOULD KNOW. Unfortunately only psych in area :{
