After 5 1/2 hours in prep waiting for surgery Dr. Deturris went back to his office leaving my husband waiting. He called and said he really needed to see his patients and would be back to do the surgery in another 1 1/2 hours. We left!!
Abdominal surgery 2003 and back to lymph node surgery Stage 3B cancer 2015.

He did not listen to what I had to say! I laid in the hospital for 10 days without eating and lost 30 pounds. He finally listened to my son, and did another surgery to correct the problem. After my release from the hospital, he took the drain tube out too early, and I developed an infection.
Dr Deturris operated on me at NFRMC in Nov 2019. He followed up with me during my stay and a few weeks after being released from NFRMC.
