As all of us know, our vehicles cost a lot of money. As such, it's very important that service departments and their reps treat owners appropriately. It was my pleasure to have my vehicle serviced at Stanley recently. The service rep, Nick, was outstanding! He was courteous, knowledgeable, thorough and gladly answered all of my questions. In short: I could not mention anything whatsoever that could be criticized. I know exactly where to bring my vehicle next time for servicing!
I took my trailblazer in for an engine light issue and they diagnosed it as a bad turbocharger. One week later when finally getting to the installation, they test ran it and heard a loud internal engine noise. This was due to metal grindings from the new turbo getting into the engine oil and basically causing the engine to be ruined. The cause was likely a botched installation. They say that the engine will be covered under warranty but insist that they fully diagnose the engine failure before it can be replaced. We are now ... read more
