I had a deeply disappointing experience with Stange Law Firm Olivia N. Mitchell and Keith Fuller attorneys assigned to my case consistently missed deadlines, showed poor judgement, and billed me for work that overwhelmingly done y my brother-not the firm. Despite raising concerns, the billing remained outrageous. The only thing missing was a mask and gun, completely unjustified. When I refused to pay until some results or settlement reached. The original attorney I was working with up and left the firm which I did not hear anything about until I called to ask for an update on my case. I then started working with Deborah Thompson to have a motion filed. In the middle of this, she completely stopped responding to my calls and emails. Highly recommend Zoe Arthurson-McColl out of their Bloomington Illinois office. Very knowledgeable, efficient, and quick to respond! Currently working on my child custody case and I am confident in the outcome. Firm itself has highly trained and knowledgeable attorneys. An added benefit to this is the communication they have amongst each other also gives peace of mind that everything in your case is addressed.

Worst law firm I have ever seen. I hired them for a divorce modification and went thru three attorneys before getting Nicolette Daniels who is the worst attorney that I have had. She will not represent you and only works for bleeding you dry of your money. I had to repeat myself to her multiple times which of course adds more charges to your account. Kathrine Phelps helped me in a very trying time, in a restraining order, custody an divorce case where things were as serious as they can get. Katherine battled for me, an we worked together to not only receive the custody of the children immediately but resolved the divorce, custody, and property as well. This Law firm is a joke! We paid $250.00 hour consulting fee and then scheduled an appointment to come back with the paperwork and give them the deposit, however we found out the attorney is no longer employed there and that we must pay another $250.00 consulting fee or just hand the paperwork over and pay the deposit and be assigned an attorney, who would ever hire an attorney without meeting them? Stange Law Firm took my money and ran. A week prior to my divorce trial, I was assigned a new attorney and then withdrew from the case. I asked for a quit claim deed to be processed in order to refinance my mortgage and nothing happened. I also asked for visitation until the trial and my attorney made no attempts to enforce temporary visitation with my children. Kind of a waste of time to use them. They had us go to an arbitrator, another $375 each, to sort out our differences. That's what I would recommend doing. The attorney didn't really do much but sit fill out extra paperwork. And that cost a few thousand dollars. Plus I opened my case in St. Charles office but that attorney soon left the practice and the new attorney's office was in wildwood so he was billing me for travel time. I thought that was BS.
