The doctors and staff know this, but this is what they chosen to do to make room for more eggs and maximize profits. The Stanford staff is great. Nurse practitioner, Robyn, is very kind, supportive, and a great listener. Phlebotomist, Sandra, is incredibly gentle. I did not feel the needle at all.
I highly recommend Stanford Fertility. At age 34, my husband and I chose to freeze embryos, which allowed me to return to school for my nursing degree without the fear that I might lose my ability to have children later in life. I am starting a new process with this clinic-and only because this is the only place my insurance covers. I forgot what a COMPLETE nightmare this place is. Be prepared to speak with incompetent nurses and MDs who do no speak with you along the way. You send mychart messages, only to have a nurse reply back or call you, however, nothing they say makes sense.
