They refused to see me. I have Pernicious Anemia and had severe neurological symptoms without anemia. This happens to 25% of patients, but because I did not have hematological anemia, they refused to see me. I don't think they are aware of the fact that Pernicious Anemia can cause life threatening or disabling neurological symptoms due to autonomic system and subacute combined degeneration of the spinal cord without the patient having iron anemia.
