Friendly staff. Not a large serving area but it handles things well.
The pharmacy is excellent at getting preauthorizations for medicines and fulfilling these higher-value medications by pick up or by mail order. The pharmacists are very knowledgeable, pleasant, articulate and relatively easy to reach on the phone. They are a joy to work with. Most of the negative reviews are rants by people who were upset the pharmacy was closed or complaining about the post-surgical medical system at Stanford, not the excellent pharmacy.
I just got out of surgery 3 hours late and they're now sending me to Walgreens because the pharmacy in the hospital closes early. Oh my gosh what a joke!
Worse in every single metric compared to the Walgreens in Vaden. Unfortunately the insurance only pays this pharmacy for speciality drug.
Surgery on Friday. Release on Saturday. This Pharmacy is not open on weekends. Meaning I won't be able to pick up my post op meds before the long drive home. I'm in a lot of pain here. Stanford should be embarrassed to host such a part time pharmacy on it's campus.
