Excellent product install about 10yrs ago. I called after hours and left a message. My call was returned the following morning. My appointment was scheduled for the next day. The worker who came to my house was knowledgeable, courteous, and expedient.
Incredible job. Finished a two day job in one. Much appreciated, especially around the holidays! Thanks for the hard work and great product. I am so relieved and excited to have a dry basement!
I called Mike from Standard Water System sent Matt to gather dimensions and view the problem. Matt spent a great amount of time educating me on their products and how it works. The next day, Mike called back to ask additional questions about a specific concern. He provided me with options and wrapped up the whole package in his estimate. They installed drain tiles to prevent water from seeping through the basement floor.
They did a wonderful job of installing the pump and the drain tile. After the demolition was completed they cleaned all the debris away and left the basement very clean. The next day the cement crew came to finish the job and once again everything was left clean and neat. All the people from the company that I worked with were very nice to deal with. The results are great. We've had storms since the pump was installed and everything worked great. No water in the basement. Hurray!
We received an advance call telling us when to expect the crew to arrive. The crew arrived on time; established a work route in our yard that would have the least amount of impact on the grass etc. They used poly and taped off all openings to limit the amount of dust that could migrate upstairs. The first crew who broke up the cement, hauled it away, and installed the drain tile. They were very courteous, respectful of our home and as careful as they could be considering what an inherently dusty job it is. They covered things, hung plastic in the doorways and the main spokesman was patient and cheerful regarding my comments and questions. Install draintile throughout a larger basement (1000 sq. ft) after it had flooded. Gave us an estimate and were able to fit the work in earlier than anticipated. Very professional. A lot of unforseen problems arose (such as our floor slab being 16 inches as opposed to the normal 4 inches) that ran up costs - they probably ended up eating some of these unforseen costs as they didn't think it was fair to raise the amount of their estimate by so much money. The estimate that they had given me from the beginning was right on target when the job was complete. They came right on time and were very professional. I went down in the basement and they explained to me everything they were doing. I looked around and saw they were using jack hammers. I was thinking how I am going to clean this mess up. When they were done I went back down in the basement and it was spotless. They did a fantastic job.
Standard installed interior drain tile and sump pump system, installed egress window, installed Fortress basement wall stabilization system and installed radon abatement system (exhaust fan attached to interior drain tile system).
