plumbing nightmare My wife and I had been searching the entire town for an old faucet stem. The man behind the counter was very knowledgable and friendly. We were in and out before I knew it. With the price of gas now, price was not a factor. Great store!!
Service with a smile One stop shopping if you are in need of a sprinkler system and want to do it yourself but aren't to sure of what you are doing or how to get started. We took them a scale drawing of our yard and they gave us a detailed drawing of where to put every sprinkler head, how many valves we needed and even exactly how many of every piece we were going to need. Know their stuff This is our source when we have a tough part to find. It seems that a lot of big chain hardware stores do not carry every plumbing part. This year we had a pipe break in the sprinkler system. We couldn't find the part anywhere. We went in and showed them just what we needed. The ordered it and on the first try they got the right size and everything. They even special ordered it for us.
Meads Hardware We would normally not shop at this hardware store, but if you are looking for something that you cannot find anywhere else, they probably will have it. The prices are high, but it is a matter of finding what you need when you need it. They have a great selection. They are not the most convenient store to get to, and be prepared for ridiculous prices.
Everything you need for sprinklers As their name indicates, they specialize in sprinkler accessories. One trip to Sprinkler World and you'll find all you need to install/fix your sprinkler system. The store clerks are helpful in explaining things if you are new to this. Even though their prices are a little bit higher than Home Depot, but if you want one-stop shopping for all the things you need, this is the place to visit.
Helpful They make keys here. I like this store because the people are patient and helpful. They are very nice about answering questions. I also like it because you don't need a map and hiking boots to get around the place. They specialize in hard to find plumbing fittings. On Lake Mead Blvd. one block East of Lamb. Hours are 8-6 Mon-Sat. and 8-4 on Sunday
just around the corner A friend was building me a wheelchair ramp and ran out of screws, so instead of me having to go 5 miles to the home center I went just around the corner to Meads Hardware and was able to pick up everything that was needed to finish the wheelchair ramp. They have just about anything you may need for any project. yes your going to pay alittle more for what you need but in the end your saving on gas.
