To some, when you think of a diner, you think of good solid food that's tasty and not much else. Standard Diner is so much more. What a place this little gem is. The chef(s) will amaze you with an upscale presentation of taste bud heaven, on par with more finer restaurants. So much so that it actually betrays the word 'diner.' A group of us stopped on the way back to the airport for a quick lunch.. Amazing from start to finish... Our server was attentive and didn't let a cup go empty... As far as the food. I had the breakfast chicken fried steak..... Best I have ever had ..keep up the amazing work!!!
We were on our way to Albuquerque International Airport and stopped in for a bite while we had a layover for our flight to NJ. We had a large group of 15 travelling together, so the wait staff had a challenge on their hands. They easily accommodated us, seated us right away, and got our orders placed quickly.
