At 30 weeks, we transferred to the birthing center after not having a great experience at the hospital care. The first appointment was complete night and day difference and we felt like we were being heard and had the ability to make more personal choices that fit our families needs. Unfortunately when water broke, I had meconium in the water so I had to be transferred to the hospital but the care we got from the midwives during the process was amazing. I cannot say enough good things about the birth center! Tina and Keri took amazing care of us and we had a great experience from prenatal to postpartum care. Such a supportive and warm atmosphere
UPDATE: 11/19/22 This is my 3rd baby with them and I still chose Stand and Deliver and this time I used their Birth Center. Everything about this birth went perfectly. I have to say that their post partum care is better this time than the last. They have more staff, that helps with initial intakes and post partum care. I was able to record my birth this time around as well. I still have yet to use their inflatable water birthing tub because every labor, I have always birth too fast in order to use it. I cannot say enough amazing things about my experience with Stand and Delivery Birth Center and the incredible midwives, Tina and Kerry. From the very first appointment, they made me feel seen, heard, and genuinely cared for. Every visit felt calm, comforting, and so personal—like I was being supported by family, not just providers. Throughout my pregnancy, Tina and Kerry were patient, reassuring, and endlessly knowledgeable. I started my journey with Stand and Deliver Midwifery when I was 14 weeks pregnant and it was very rewarding journey. I sadly didn’t get to have my birth at the birth center but they were with me every step of the way and with me for the aftercare.
