My wife and I recently took paddle board lessons with Roddy while celebrating our Anniversary weekend. We live in Bluffton, but it was our first time trying out paddle boarding. We had a blast! Weather was perfect. Roddy gave us great instructions before heading out, and we were both standing up fairly easily after taking off. Spent some time at a sandbar and even tried different yoga poses on the board (i failed miserably at that. lol) Roddy was nice enough to take pictures so that we'd have memories from our first time. We had a great time during our sunrise tour. We saw dolphins and other marine life. Roddy is a great guide and instructor. I would highly recommend.
Set up a ladies group outing and it was great! Was easy to play individually on site. Instruction was clear and easy. Even having spinal issues I was able to do the standing paddle and not feel rushed even thought I was slow. Beautiful scenery and a guide that loves what he does and the area!
I've done two tours with Roddy when we've had visitors come to see us in Bluffton. Both times everyone said it was a highlight of their weekend in Lowcountry. Roddy is a great instructor, there are beautiful sites and we saw dolphins both times. Highly recommend this for an awesome day out on the river.
