I hired Stan to fix a stuck garage door and replace a faulty kitchen door handle. On the initial phone call, he clearly stated that his hourly rate is $90, with a 2 hour minimum. This seemed reasonable to me because of the use of his van, and a helper who assisted him. He gave me the option of him either buying all new parts, or using some parts (door handle and garage springs) that he had left over from previous jobs.
