we had a serviceman by the name of Mike come visit our home, fairly young spanish man who I hear has good reviews. We have used this company and had a great experience so what happened today is beyond me. Mike took it upon himself to slam his fists onto our fragile glass door in attempt to alert us he was there. I came downstairs alarmed and asked him why he was banging on our glass when he told me "you didnt answer the bell" meanwhile the bell was going as he was aggressively slamming our glass. Our air conditioner broke down during a heat wave. They returned our call promptly and came to our house the same day. They were extremely professional and had our ac working again quickly. They repaired our old central a/c system and also installed a new one; they installed a new furnace; and they made numerous repairs and maintenance visits over the years. They are professional, responsive, knowledgable, and neat. Brian Gelber is up to date on all state-of-the-art technology. We don't hesitate to recommend Stan Gelber & Sons to our friends and colleagues.
Not a good place to work, Family business owned and personal friends as workers, if your not one of these Don't apply, your job won't last. Nice at the beginning then will be out of work in no time. Would not recommend it here!!
So back around late October of last year (2011), my 55 year old oil tank finally started to develop a leak and my oil company refused to give me any more oil until it was fixed. We hired Stanley Gelber & Sons to replace the air conditioning unit in our house. To be fair our house has a complicated and old system. They installed a very large unit in our attic (it took up the entire width of the attic). When they installed the new AC unit they left some of our belongings behind the unit making it impossible for us to retrieve them. They left the job and we had no hot water.
