I have been with Stamford Pediatric Associates for more than 16 years now. Dr. Henkind has been taking care of my kids ever since they were born. I can’t say enough about her. If you want someone who is not just a great, knowledgeable and thorough doctor but also caring, kind and a lovely human being, than Dr. Henkind is your Doctor. Highly recommend Dr. Henkind and her practice!
Dr. Henkind has been a wonderful pediatrician for my 2 boys. In 2002 my first son was born. Despite all positive signs Dr. Jenny (as she is known in our family!) successfully diagnosed him with hip dysplasia. Out of an abundance of caution she had us do xrays and was spot on in her diagnosis! She was able to refer us to a pediatric expert out of Yale - and after several months of a Pavlik harness our son's hips were in place. My son was born early and had to stay at NICU for a while. Doctor at NICU has recommended Dr. Jennifer Henkind. And I’m so grateful she did. “Dr Jenny” is everything I want in my kids doctor. She is carrying, very knowledgeable, smart, compassionate, she remembers details of your kid health journey very well, she listens to your concerns, she doesn’t dismiss any signs and checks everything to make sure that nothing weird is going on. Where do I start with how much I love and respect Dr. Jenny Henkind. We have been with her practice over 10 years and she and her team have provided incredible medical care and when specialists are needed, she provides excellent recommendations and stays involved until resolution. Dr. Henkind diagnosed my son who was 22 months old at the time with a very serious illness. She was spot on accurate and helped save his life. Every interaction with her has brought a greater admiration of her medical savy and patient and parent empathy. The world could use more like her, she's an amazing doctor.
