Simply terrible service other than the HSS surgeon / 5th floor. A Hospital Dr. That used the F word. Absolute lack of coordination between different departments. No Dr. even showed up on my pm checkout day. Inaccurate post surgery information. Dr's that did not respond to multiple calls. I had to drive to a Dr's office after no response after a week of calls ! I talked to patient relations at the hospital and via phone. NO feedback. Does Senior managers know what is going on ? Have.someone with a VP in their title call me.

Felt threatened and harassed by Dr. Craig Zelig. Unfortunately I am considering receiving health care from somewhere else, which is a shame because I have been with Stamford Health since I was a child and have had amazing experiences with majority of my doctors, especially Dr. Viyas who seemed to be the only doctor who actually gave me helpful advice during this pregnancy, but because of Dr. Craig Zelig, I will absolutely not be delivering my child at this hospital. I have been going to this location for 2 years and yesterday I had a nurse name Jennifer in pain management she was so knowledgeable and helpful this was the first time I had a nurse be this kind and helpful since I have been coming here to this location she listened to me and gave positive feedback with out rushing and she was compationate and caring about my health I truly appreciated her because I am from New York City and I was starting to think all the drs and nurses in ct was very dismissive to patients and their needs... read more

My recent stay at Stamford Hospital was one of the worst healthcare experiences I’ve ever had. I was admitted with rhabdomyolysis, already in significant pain, and the care I received made an already difficult situation even harder. I was given a PureWick device that was not properly maintained. It was never changed, and the bed became soiled. The pad underneath me was only changed once a day, which led to my skin beginning to break down. By the second day, after I was finally able to shower, I refused to use it again. Inste... read more

I had a great delivery last week, and just wanted to share how great of an experience I had. I used Stamford health throughout my whole pregnancy and had a positive experience. The actual delivery and stay was special because I genuinely felt cared for and listened to. The room service and food was also excellent and nutritiously thought out. The hospital is modern and up to date. Thank you again to the whole women’s specialty center.
