Stamford Family Vision Center is an excellent eye clinic. Dr. Shanee Chandler Drakes, OD, MS is polite, professional, knowledgeable, and makes it comfortable to discuss all aspects of my eye care. Appointments are easy and quick to schedule, and stopping by to fix my glasses was handled promptly. I recommended them to my wife and dad, and they are now patients as well. Highly recommended!
From the beautiful entry way to the staff meeting me at the desk with a smile, I thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated my visit with Dr. Drakes at SVC. Not only was Dr. Drakes thorough, she provided a concise explanation of what was going on with my astigmatism and ways I can continue to excel with adequate eye training and consistent wear of my glasses opposed to contacts. The bonus was finding out this was the first Black owned Optometry clinic in Stamford! I am honored to be a part of history and will surely be back!!
Greetings! My name is Chris and my oh my!…what an AMAZING experience I had at today’s visit with Dr. Chandler! Her expertise and hospitality is the best! Her staff is just as amazing as she is and I am sooooo Thankful to have my eyes examined and vision corrected with this team! I’m a first timer with wearing prescription glasses and once again I am so Thankful to have come to Stamford Family Vision Center! If you want the best…this is the place to go! 😊
New patient, showed up for a 9am appointment. Was instructed via text to show up at 845a to fill out new patient forms, which is very standard. I show up at 845a, front door is locked, and no one is there. No worries.... waited until 9am, no one showed up. Called shortly after and talked to someone, yet the office was still locked up with no lights on. The person I spoke with said, "he should be there" without referencing whom should be there.
