We absolutely love it here and have zero complaints! It's Stamford's hidden gem. I actually don't want to tell anybody about this wonderful apartment complex because there will be a herd of people waiting to be accepted into this wonderful community of people. I couldn't ask for more. They recently replaced the carpets in the hall and it took them one day to do an entire floor. Juan has been an outstanding property manager for our building. He’s approachable, reliable, and always willing to help when something comes up. It’s clear he cares about the property and the people who live here. Having a manager like Juan makes a big difference in the overall experience of living in the building.
We were here last year and had to move to White Plains, NY for our son's care. It wasn't a perfect setup. Kitchen counter space was limited, no microwave, and not always the best appliances. Having said that, maintenance was responsive and competent. Heat worked well enough. Staff was friendly and did a fair number of community activities. There was a good community vibe. As a former resident of Stamford Corners, I must say the experience was just okay. Amidst constant maintenance issues (apartment experienced leaks twice), faulty fire alarms, and old and outdated units/HVAC systems and amenities, I don’t believe it was worth the price in hindsight. Maintenance staff focused on bandaid issues rather than addressing the core issues and sometimes it took them up to 2 weeks to even address the issue.
