I drive an hour to get to Dr Stam and then an hour back. It is so worth it. It is worth it because his treatments work and I can do what I like to do knowing he can keep my soft tissue aches and pains under wraps. I have also learned a great deal about my structure and how to stay within my limits of what my body can handle. An awareness that helps prevent further injury and damage. His attitude towards care is direct and no nonsense. He will tell you straight up how far he can help you.
I saw more improvement after a car accident injury within 3 visits with Dr. Stam than I saw in 3 months of 3x a week physical therapy. He was open and honest about what kind of improvement I could expect to see and never pressured me to continue care once I reached the expected level of improvement.
