Dr. Stam is an amazing doctor! This is my third year going to them for my eye appointment. I was referred by a friend and I was having major issues with my eyes focusing together, which caused a lot of issues. They have a special test called the Neurolens that has changed my life! All of the workers are amazing, super friendly and knowledgeable. I am moving away but I'm hoping to come back once a year so I don't have to find a new eye doctor.
I've been suffering with chronic bruxism for over 7 years. After I mentioned that I get migraines from it, Dr. Stam ran an eye alignment test on me and discovered that my eyes are misaligned, and suggested I purchase Neurolens (prism lenses) to correct that. I did, and after only a couple of weeks I noticed a difference and my bruxism, jaw pain, neck/upper back pain were all feeling better. So many issues with my eyes. I got my prizm glasses absolutely different vision with them. I can't believe what I couldn't see before for over a year from the other eye doctor.
Eye Exam Experience - Mixed Feelings To begin with, the eye exam itself was excellent. The service was amazing, and the doctor did a great job identifying my correct prescription. However, the issues began afterward. I went in specifically to get glasses for driving, but I was mistakenly given a computer prescription. I lovee Dr Stam and his front desk staff, as they appear both thoughtful, caring and able to make a person feel wonderful while there. HOWEVER, if you have any follow up or are awaiting prescription glasses or contacts, FORGETABOUTIT! First year they delayed/forgot about my glasses prescriptions for 6 MONTHS. Second year, they NEVER called me back for my contacts fitting. Now, I followed up with them for months on each, and each time I was told they were sorry and would file my prescriptions.
