Dr. Staires has been my pain management specialist for many years. There are many stories about "pill mill" doctors and he is not that! He recommended more than just medicine: meditation, exercise from physical therapists, and massages showing that patients have to take responsibility for their well being also. He is professional, kind and cares about me. His whole staff is wonderful, prompt and professional also.
Dr. Staires gave me a cervical epidural injection. Before going in for the procedure a nurse told me that he is "the best." He was very professional and I am anticipating good results.
Dr. Staires has helped me for years to endure the chronic pain associated with a major car crash many years ago. I appreciate his professional approach and his knowledge as to how to manage my situation.

My neurosurgeon referred me to Dr. Staires for a cervical epidural injection. I called his office a number of times with questions and they were nothing but professional and patient with me. My calls were returned promptly. I met Dr. Staires at the surgery center before the procedure. He patiently explained the process and addressed all of my questions. I had a great result from the injection and was able to stop taking narcotics immediately. It has been 3 wks & i am so much better.
