At first I wasn't really sure what I wanted done with my stairs, but they helped me through it. Overall, the material took a few extra days to ship, but it looks amazing.
I'm really surprised by the other reviews. I'm not sure why my experience was so different, but I really have nothing negative to say. I called around to a few home builders in the area, and they suggested Iron Wood. I had them come out to my property and quote some custom iron I wanted done on my front gate. I have a fairly good knowledge of construction, and the guy sounded like he really knew what he was doing. A few days later I hired them to do the job, and I am so pleased with how it turned out.
I agree with Scott M. We had them come out to our house to give an estimate and my husband (who is very handy, his dad was a wood shop teacher) said the guy sounded like he didn't know a thing about remodeling stairs. He couldn't answer most of our questions and left without offering a solution or attempting to get our business. Very odd encounter, and those reviews all do seem fake. Look at the names. First name, two more letters, and a number. Everyone of them. Not to mention the wording of the reviews is strange.
All the reviews below are fake. (Read them and judge yourself.) I would be leary of dealing with them. It took 2 phone calls and an e-mail before someone contacted me to set up an estimate. A guy did come out to check out what we wanted done. After six days I hadn't received an estimate yet and followed up with an e-mail asking for one. Now another four days have passed and nothing. Between my experience and the fake reviews, this company doesn't appear to be a reputable one.
My wife and i requested the unique stairs remodel produced by this specialist a week ago and their set up squad was superb. The stairs look nice in addition to the price was actually just proper.
