Dr. Stahl has been the best Optometrist my husband and myself have ever had. We have seen him for several years for our annual eye exams. I would recommend him to anyone with eye care needs.
I usually only write reviews when I have something nice to say. I took my husband here, and I would only give 1 star to Dr. Stahl. I'm giving an extra, because the staff was wonderful. We did not have to wait like some of the other reviewers did, but Dr. Stahl was impatient. My husband had never had an eye appointment before and did not know what to expect. Dr. Stephen Stahl is a dangerous quack. He should have checked me on the Brimonidine eyedrops he scared me into taking (threatening vision loss if I didn't) much earlier than 3 months out. My eyesight went from the crisp 20/20 which the cataract surgery in Flagstaff gave me in my good eye, to a blurry 20/30, which I found out is a common occurrence on those drops. 70% of reviews for Brimonidine are negative. I agree with Chris. Do not go here. Too many reasons to list. I was there 2 hours yesterday…waiting. Just for starters….I was walking the halls. Thought they had all gone home.
Absolutely terrible, unprofessional, rude, disrespectful, and passive aggressive. I don’t even write reviews and I’d at least like to consider myself, a nice and respectful person that will deal with a lot. But, I just can not do it with this man. Maybe it was just my experience, or maybe he was having a bad day. But, you need to make your clients comfortable, yeah you have “years of experience” but what good is that when you make your clients uncomfortable.
