I stayed at this property a couple of weeks ago and feel compelled to share my experience. Unfortunately, my stay was severely impacted by a bed bug infestation in my room. When I brought this serious health and safety concern to the front desk and requested to speak with the manager, she was entirely unhelpful and failed to address the situation properly. Absolutely Incredible Experience at Stagecoach Inn!!! We hosted our wedding reception in the Grace Jones Ballroom at the Stagecoach Inn, and it was nothing short of perfection! From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. The food was phenomenal—sirloin, pork chops, and jumbo Cajun Creole shrimp that were cooked to absolute perfection. Been here twice it was amazing the first time beautiful room amazing experience, but after our recent stay, I will not be coming back! Hotel manager Marquita Stewart is very rude and unhelpful. I was kind and respectful even patient when she started getting snippy with attitude but was super friendly to another guest (ig since I’m Hispanic and they weren’t) Even asking staff for just an extra towel I see her chewing out that same house keeper. Overall, we enjoyed our 1 night stay but definitely some areas to improve that left us frustrated. Firstly, we were told that the kitchen and bar closed at 10 so we were left incredibly bothered when we walked in at 9 to be told they closed early. All we wanted was a quick drink before going to bed and with limited options in a small town, closing the hotel bar early is a BIG no to me in the hospitality world. I had a meeting scheduled in the town of Salado; I cannot say enough good things about the atmosphere, comfort and professionalism of this hotel. I often go with hotel chains for consistency, but stagecoach far outclassed all of them. The atmosphere alone in the rooms, strong coffee, and comfortable bed actually relaxed and rejuvenated me. If you’re staying in Salado, you would be silly NOT to stay at Stagecoach. Pricing was very good too.
