Absolutely Incredible Experience at Stagecoach Inn!!! We hosted our wedding reception in the Grace Jones Ballroom at the Stagecoach Inn, and it was nothing short of perfection! From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond to make our day unforgettable. Overall, we enjoyed our 1 night stay but definitely some areas to improve that left us frustrated. Firstly, we were told that the kitchen and bar closed at 10 so we were left incredibly bothered when we walked in at 9 to be told they closed early. All we wanted was a quick drink before going to bed and with limited options in a small town, closing the hotel bar early is a BIG no to me in the hospitality world. Very nice, cost-effective place to stay. You can walk to the main street where there are lots of shops / coffee / historic old school ruins etc. The rooms are very nicely done, great bed, nice lighting and styling... was sad to see them mostly empty when we stayed but we imagine its just being in the middle of winter. Only negative was just the road noise from the highway - its fine in your room but pretty loud outside. Otherwise great place and I'd recommend if you're transiting like we were between Dallas & Austin!

From calling to make the reservation to check- out, everything experienced at the Stagecoach was perfect. All staff were pleasant and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant meal was delicious as were the pastries in the bakery. It was a super relaxing weekend; Salado is a fun little town to visit. It was the perfect girls out weekend and definitely will be repeated. Highly recommend.

We stayed for a week while moving. The staff is fantastic! Valarie has done a beautiful job with the rooms. They are modern and clean, with still keeping the historic feel. We didn’t get a chance to have dinner but the deserts were wonderful. Our room was overlooking the pool and pool side bar. My parents spent their honeymoon there in 1975 and every anniversary after for 20 years. We will be staying on our visits home. Oh, and the pets loved it!
