My friend and I visited Salado for a girls’ trip, and I’m so happy we stayed at Stagecoach! Our room was the poolside Queen double with patio, which I recommend. The lighting in the room was so perfect, especially if you have sensory issues. All the switches had dimmers, and the bathroom had an under cabinet light so you could find your way at night. Top notch stay at the Stagecoach Inn! This place is teeming with rich history. It really makes your imagination come alive. The grounds and pool area are enchanting, and transport you back in time. Loved the live music as we took a late night dip in the pool. You can tell they’re headed in a new direction with the recent renovations to the rooms and restaurant, and I’m here for it! Just had an outstanding visit at the Stagecoach. We were looking for a close weekend getaway from Austin. It was just about perfect. The hotel is very nicely renovated and feels very comfortable. Our room overlooking the pool was nicely appointed. There was no highway noise. The pool and pavilion with a bar is definitely a centerpiece of the place. Room is renovated and very clean. Bed comfortable. To get cold water from tap we were told let water run 10 minutes!otherwise was scalding. No place.to.put.clothes except to hang. Using desk as vanity because bath sink small. No additional chair in room. TV has very limited channels. No news networks. 1 chair on balcony. Dinner in resturant was OK but chicken breast was rubber. They took it off and gave us a dessert. We were booked 3 nights and wish we had chosen other.
