The food was mediocre... the problem was the wait. My wife and I both ordered a sandwich and waited in excess of 40 minutes. The only reason I didn't walk out was because I wanted to see how long it would actually take them to produce a sandwich. It was comical towards the end. Good thing I wasn't dying of hunger.

This was a nice little find in Buffalo on our way from Dallas to Houston on I-45. Strictly a six day lunch deli (closed Sunday) the menu was very wide and reasonably priced. The ambiance of the restaurant added to the dining pleasure and don't be fooled by the outside facade that makes it look like a general store about to fall down. Everybody very friendly and helpful. This is worth planning your drive so you'll go through Buffalo at lunch time.
Omg!!!! The crawfish bisque is to die for!!!!! I also had the ultimate chicken salad sandwich and it was delicious!
Great place to eat for lunch. My son and I have been several times and really love the place. Good food and a great atmosphere.
