It served our needs when we needed a short term living quarters. Elevators are a drag and usually very dirty. Common area's were not kept clean. But the apartment itself was ok. You live with all kind of unstable residents. Office personal can be rude. Other staff was to personal and very noisy.

You do not want to move into this community. This complex is not fit for the elderly, do not move your love ones on this property. Management does not care about the people living here. Electricity was out for a week, so the pull strings would not call EMS. Management left notes on the doors to use cell phones and call 911 for emergencies. Everyone does not own a cell phone. She left on Monday and never returned until the following Monday, and works when she wants to.

This place Tejas Cove in Bay City Texas looks like the ghetto. It has no controlled gates and a lot of the fence is gone. The buildings are mildew and dirty outside. The stucco is falling off, and the shingles are almost gone from the roofs. Parts of the roof is starting to leak. The manager we have has been here going on 3-4 years and has not done a thing to repair this property.

The manager is Amelia and she is the best. She gave my mother and my sister a tour of the property and was so nice. This lady knows how to TCB! I give her all the prompts! God bless Ms Amelia! My mother who is 85 was very impressed!

It has shopping conveniences with in walking distance, a garden which I really like and a party room with laundry and parking. But the management is the biggest downfall. There is no respect for residents. So you may want to consider this only after you seek other options where elderly community means something,, .

Apartment complex requires maintenance and appliance updates. A big issue was the water supply from the well, where residents had to boil there water before use. Leaking fixtures that have been leaking for approximately 2 years. Interior walls have not been painted in accordance with the contract. Carpets worn to the floor and have not been replaced in 10 years. I would not recommend these apartment to anyone.
