Omg!! If you're looking for a little of Hawaii with your breakfast, this is the place to go. The food and service were 5☆. I eat at a restaurant on Oahu in Kailua called Cinnamons. And I love their Mac pancakes too!! Back to Stacks tho. The coconut syrup O. M. G. I asked for extra crispy potatoes and I got them. And over easy eggs were picture perfect. 100% Nom Nom Nom rating!
Stacks is our go to breakfast / brunch place in Dana Point. The food is always prepared as ordered and delicious. I love their pancakes. My daughter has celiac and gets their GF breakfast sandwich. Never had an allergic reaction to it. The staff is very nice and friendly even when the place is packed. I recommend getting there early, especially on Sunday mornings, or counting on a little more time if you have something planned afterwards. It is well worth the wait though!
My 90 year old dad lives in L.A. One of his favorite breakfasts is Stacks "coconut pineaple pancakes". Once a month I buy an omelette, a stack of those pancakes, and drive up to L.A. to have breakfast with him. We're never disapointed.
