Ya'll have been going down since you stopped serving alcohol but it is BAD now! It took extremely long to get our food even though no one else was waiting before us. My landfill (buffalo chicken over fries with cheese and ranch) was pure oil! I only ate a few bites. The atmosphere is depressing....no music or anything. I'm actually surprised y'all are still in business. Ohhh and then I realized the sanitation grade was 89.4. YUCK!! You should just sell so Mars Hill can have a good restaurant again.
The high point was the food, the sanitation score was not high.
Forks of Ivy Salad was sweet & scrumptious, Smashed French Broad Burger was flavorful and the fried mushrooms were mushroomy. I made the mistake of not asking how the pickles were cut- my mistake. Still crunchy and enjoyable. Sweet potato fries didnt need a thing on them! Waitress was distracted even though they weren't that busy. Food was horrid, switched waitresses on us halfway through, check was brought out WITH our food. Workers are just underdeveloped teenagers playing house. Will not be coming back, even for takeout. Pro tip: go to Smokin Joe's if you want good bbq. Service doesn't dress like it's hooters, and won't rush you to get out so they can keep socializing.
