We recently had breakfast at Stacked on Garden Street in Whitby, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The restaurant was extremely cold when we arrived, to the point that it made the meal uncomfortable from start to finish. A warm, welcoming atmosphere is especially important for breakfast, and this really affected our overall experience. The home fries were served cold. Went in this morning and #1 the place was freezing cold. When our food came the home fries were freezing cold. Sent them back and the next batch were so salty so sent them back. Got it right on 3rd try. Sausages were dry and shriveled like they been on the grill for a long time. Toast was not toasted. Warm buttered bread. Not a very good experience. Will hesitate on going back
Kids running around while mom was working. Husband sipping drinks standing in front of the TV watching the game. Service was slow and seems like just enjoying the day.
