From what I've been told, him and his l and d team are terrible with informed consent. I've been told they don't tell you when they up your pitocin. Also heard that he has given stitches and failed to mention it beforehand. The least they could do is spend a little time saying a few extra words to make their patients comfortable.
Go somewhere else for Post partum care.
I am SO HAPPY I went with Dr. Thornton and his team. They are ALL amazing there, and make you feel welcome, and always answer any and all questions I've ever had. They listen and are very attentive. Made SURE I always knew what the game plan was, and communicated it with my Husband and I. This is our first baby, and we were worried and scared, but they put me at ease. I would choose them over and over and over again.
He is an excellent doctor. Really cares about his patients.
Doctor Thornton and Whitney Richards are the best. The care they deliver is A+.
