I am extremely disappointed with the level of professionalism at Stacey L Thornton, MD, FACOG. I have reached out a total of 10 times since 03/25, and it is now 04/09, and I still have not received a single call back. I have left at least three voicemails, and none have been returned. On top of that, when I call, no one answers. This is beyond frustrating considering I have been a patient here since I was 16 or 17 years old, and Dr. Thornton delivered my daughter in 2024. Horrible doctor!! If you are colored I do not recommend him! I blame him for my birth going totally wrong. I had a seizure and I had signs of preeclampsia my whole pregnancy but him or his staff brushed it off. The first time I met him he prayed for me but I think it was because I was with my mom. The 2nd & 3rd time I went for my ultrasound he didn’t say hi went in the room talking a whole different conversation with his nurse. I’ve only had a few appointments with Dr. Thornton (currently 20 weeks pregnant with my 2nd baby), but really excited to continue seeing him. I’m working towards an unmedicated vaginal delivery and Dr Thornton seems confident that I can do it considering I have already vaginally delivered an 11 lb baby. Dr. Thornton has been my Ob for my previous 2 pregnancies and now my current one and I couldn’t ask for a better Dr to deliver my kids! He makes me feel 100% comfortable and really cares about you and your babies!! His team is just amazing as he is!! Anytime I find out a friend of mine is pregnant I refer them to go to him!! Was seen in june as a new patient and both the nurse and Jessica were very thorough. I was really scared to tell them what was going on but they- made me feel comfortable and thoroughly answered all my questions. She also recommended me to also have Dr. Thornton exam me too. Glad i did. Fantastic experience. I'm relieved to have found a good practice. Thank you I also want to add that the receptionists were very helpful also. Jessica and Dr. Thornton, I will always recommend them.
