Having birthed at Epworth with my first, I regret choosing St Vincent for my second. The food was terrible and the room extremely basic. They advertise updated suits on their site to entice you and you get lumped in a room that has appears the same since the hospital opened. St Vincent is truely a hospital vibe. Even though I was a private patient I would rate the general nursing as very poor The doctors good but spent as little time with me as possible Contract nurses were used constantly and had limited understanding of my needs Until my sister visited me things were poorly handled The Unit Manager was a two faced person who treated me with very poor people skills and sucked up to the doctors The best part was the Pastoral Care which was a highlight It seemed to me that most of the time I felt like I was enemy not a patient underg... read more
Super caring attentive staff, great systems and frequent clear communications made an interstate operation and hospital stay a breeze. Thank you to all staff admin, nurses, medical, orderlies.
Needs an Emergency Department and better out patient care.
Stayed overnight and had a great experience. Good sized private room and very attentive staff making sure I was comfortable. Dinner was great for a hospital meal. Highly recommended.
