I’m disgusted by the racist treatment at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne. It’s clear that Aboriginal patients are being seen before white people, even when the medical needs are just as urgent. This kind of discrimination has no place in a hospital that’s supposed to care for everyone equally. Healthcare should be about who needs help most, not about skin colour.
