I want to take a moment to recognize Nurse Mercy on the Labor and Delivery floor at St. Vincent’s Hospital. From the moment I interacted with her, she made me feel so cared for, heard, and valued. Took me three years to actually write because of just trying to understand the Doctors and facility during a pandemic. Trying to be sympathetic of all the work they had to put in during that time. However, now that I have been educated to understanding what birth should actually be like, I want to inform mothers not to come here. Dr. Ignacio was probably the only patient one during my time of induction, understanding and sensitive to what labor is actually like. I urge anyone in the southwestern area of CT to NOT have their babies delivered here. I'm currently gearing up to serve them a law suit from my delivery in April 2022. If anyone wants details, or had a horrible experience around that time, please reach out. I don't expect to be able to do this alone, but if we band together on it, let's go!
