Dr. Magid is a very good psychiatrist, very kind gentle and gets the job done. He’s not like any other doctor. He cares for his patients. Very nice. I highly recommend to see him.

I was inpatient at Westport psych hospital for suicide attempt and insomnia. 2017, 4th of July . I’m a an old white person who came from VA. Of course, ignorant staff stereotype me as racist, mysogenist , person. Because of my gender , color of skin , and age. Also , implied I was drug seeking. Horrible! I reported this hospital to VA Inspector General. It cost the American tax payers 20, 000 to send me there, not including ambulance rides etc. All that money just to be stereotyped and insulted.

I was very close to not making it out of there after surgery and the wonderful staff on the seventh floor help get me through it. Specifically, Dr. Lee Goldstein, who was my wound care specialist was terrific a wonderful person and a terrific healer. I wouldn’t go anywhere else Ever
