Visited this location to have a speech evaluation done on my son. Loved loved loved the two therapists I met with that day who interacted with my son and I. BUT I have been hesitant to return and schedule another appointment based off of my experience with the front desk associate. While leaving, my son was tired and overall ready to go home for a nap. My twins have been with Carmel Pediatrics for 2 years now. They are truly amazing. Emily is truly made for being a therapist. She is so kind and does such a good job. Paige was my son’s feeding therapist. She was so helpful in my hardest times trying to do what’s best for him. Conner is great with my daughter and she works with her so well. She has really helped me try to navigate my daughters needs and point me in the right direction. I couldn’t ask for someone better. We love her so much. My two kiddos have been attending for awhile now and we love it here! The front staff have really became like family, they are so accommodating when our schedule changes which happens quite a bit. They also have gone above and beyond to let me be apart of the sessions whether through being in the room if it isn’t distracting my child or the observation room to help ease my anxiety while getting to know how the therapist interact with my child. This place is awesome except the front desk lady. I have no doubt about the professional service from this place. But this front desk lady truly is a flaw to this place. No matter you call or be there checking in, she is always showing her long face,except when she is talking someone over the phone. Many times she is either chewing something in her mouth or talking gossip with the colleagues, have the patients waiting for her done. We came for an initial evaluation for my 4 year old son who has non-speaking autism. He had been without services because the clinic we had previously gone to, had gone out of network with our insurance. I was eager to get him in for therapy he desperately needs. My son does not have the cognitive ability to understand mask wearing or the pandemic- furthermore, due to sensory issues, he will not keep a mask on.
