Wow, this St. Vinnies is top notch. It might be the most organized thrift shops I've visited. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Do you see this book collection? Great selection of newer and gently used books and clothes, household and vintage items. Almost everything in the store was very well priced. The only exception was cast iron ware. My husband found an almost new Kuhl sweater for $20.
Really sad to see how the service and store itself has gone downhill. We noticed this by the way we were treated donating items from the staff that seemed to be under the influence. Unfortunately, I understand the area and the personnel available to hire is not ideal, though we always try to donate here, it looks like it will be goodwill from now on much to my discretion.
I am a tad disappointed in them. I had a cart full of stuff and they advised me they don't allow backpacks or large bags in the shop. I understand there's a policy but then there was no where to put my bag. I ended up spending $86 in there. I almost didn't come back in after having to walk out to put my bag away! I felt very judged! There was also others in there with bags and they were not being spoken to about their bags!
Fun place to hunt for your favorite things! Great prices.
