Signed in a 2pm ,wasn't busy only 2 people in the emergency, I asked for pain meds ,didn't get non ,the staff just Sat there chatting and 5 1/2 hours later finally get I to a room then sent home .huge waist of time..
I was really disappointed in this hospital tonight. A loved one went there after being in rehab for 2 days and they gave him suboxone. My loved one worked really hard for over a week to be clean of hydromorphone and suboxone and they ruined it by not asking the right questions. There was no doctor available to ask questions
Overnight emergency staff are incredibly disrespectful.
I underwent surgery at the St Thomas hospital and each step of the way was fantastic. They took my concerns seriously and did tests and ultrasounds immediately to confirm. The entire process was pretty smooth and low stress, from the ER to the appointments and then the surgery itself. The nurses, the volunteers, the doctors, were all kind and helpful. It was a trans friendly environment as well.
