Such a mix up with scheduling my test. My insurance covers so they schedule me . Then they called said I wasn’t covered and canceled me . My insurance company verified I was indeed covered . They made it an ordeal and it didn’t have to be
I had a great experience today with my MRI. Heather and Paul made me feel extremely comfortable, which brought much-needed relief, since I always feel a bit anxious before IVs. Beware of predatory pricing. I needed an MRI and was quoted nearly $2,700 JUST for the MRI, not the radiology (I asked). I called Albany Advanced Imaging and got quoted $330 instead. Both are part of the St Peter's network! Both had access to my doctor's script and all my medical data. You can see from the attached screenshots they use the same system to generate the quotes. The healthcare blue book says I should pay around $700 as a fair price for a non-contrast MRI...so $2,700 is insanity.
I have had only positive experiences at this site over several years.
