I cannot in good conscience stay silent about the experience our family had at this hospital with my uncle. During an incredibly vulnerable time, we witnessed a level of care that was deeply disappointing and at times distressing to watch. Watching a loved one slowly fade away in palliative care is already one of the most painful experiences a family can go through. Families come to palliative care hoping for compassion, dignity, comfort, and support during the hardest days of their lives.
