Trying to get into St Peter’s endocrinology is ridiculous. My primary referred me for episodes of hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). I called after waiting a month and they told me I needed an A1C done. I said I could ask my primary to order. They then told me unless my A1C is 8 or more they won’t see me. I said, my issue is chronic low blood glucose not high. They stuck with that requirement. I was racially, profiled and disrespectfully treated from the moment I walked through the door. I came in for a physical and made a police report directly after my visit. I felt extremely unsafe and targeted by one of the nurses I was greeted with dirty looks, and ignored as I spoke. my disabled son was called all types of racial slurs by another patient as the nurses agreed I was Mocked and made fun of by a specific nurse who mumbled that I looked like a man and that I was baldheaded. If you need healthcare, don't use this practice. I've been trying to get a prescription written for a week now after having seen Mandy Black and gotten a blood test per her order. I've left 4 voicemails for the nurse and talked to the receptionist several times. No call back. No prescription. No one will answer my calls except to transfer me to a voicemail that no one checks (apparently), and they answer less than half the time. I had to call 6 times, leaving messages every time, a few months ago to get a refill on medication. Now I've called and left 4 messages, with another questions, with no response.
